Richard is a senior in Biology who will matriculate at UMass Medical School in August 2019.
His Honors Thesis being conducted in the lab focuses on investigating how mutations in the SATB2 gene affect development of neurons, as well as the role these play in a congenital disease known as SATB2-associated syndrome.
